A Letter to Death

Dear Death,

Most people cringe at the thought of your name, not I. I like to think of you as a dear friend that I will surely meet someday in person. I’ve come to know your cousin quite well over my 26 year run, and we’ve grown quite fond of each other, we meet every night around the same time, and sometimes during the day. But, I want to sincerely thank you Death, no, seriously I do. You keep me motivated in life, you keep me thriving and striving to do more. So, I ask, how could I fear you? you’re just being you! You’ve never changed and never will, and that’s a trait I highly respect. It is true though, you have made a lot of people sad and miserable in this world, but, I know, you’re just being you. People have to accept who you are, they will realize this sooner or later on in life, but they know they can’t run from you, meeting you in this lifetime is inevitable. Well until we meet face to face, I will continue to associate with your cousin, which he sends his love. P.S. Thank you for the continued motivation and reminding me to do whatever I do, Heartfelt.

Keep it heartfelt,

Mr. Heartfelt
